Pick your favorite sin and we’ll reveal the kind of person you are

Our sins reveal a lot about who we are
Our virtues may make our characters but our sins definitely define us. We are known, more for the sins we commit than the saintly acts we do. While we may not reveal our sins in public, we are all aware of the sins we hide inside us. We may have thought about it or even committed the sin and may not have told anyone about it. Your sin would, therefore, not reveal your complete personality but can definitely reveal your dark side. So, go ahead and pick your sin and we’ll reveal the dark side of your personality.

#1 Wrath

Wrath is the rage in action and it is anger personified. It brings out the innermost animal in you and unleashes the beast which lies dormant in you. Wrath seeks destruction and is a deadly sin, especially because it makes you lose your senses and act in a manner you normally wouldn’t.

If this is your sin then you have a demon hiding in you. Your rage is what drives you and can also blind you to reason when it takes over your personality. It can grip you like madness and when you choose to unleash it, it destroys more than just your enemies, it annihilates them. You may have it under control but once it takes over you, there’s nothing you won’t do under its influence.
#2 Gluttony

Gluttony (Image Source: Shutterstock)
Gluttony is a desire for the satisfaction of hunger which is insatiable. You gorge and you gorge but there’s no amount of food which calms you like the way you would have liked to. Stuffing yourself till you suffocate is the thought behind this drive and it affects you more than anyone else.

If this is your sin then you need to be wary of your self-destructive tendencies. It is a way in which you are harming yourself and nobody would care if you destroy yourself. Gluttony is insatiable and your intent to bring this upon yourself does reveal an extremely dark side of your personality.
#3 Sloth

Sloth (Image Source: Shutterstock)
A sloth is a laziness personified. It does absolutely nothing but feed and sleep. It has no practical use in the world and adds nothing to the world of the living. It lives and breathes just for the sake of it and there’s nothing that would be missed if it weren’t present on Earth

Sloth (Image Source: Shutterstock)
If the sloth is your sin then you are adding nothing to the world. You may just be loving for the sake of it and you don’t even care if it means something or not. You are most interested in your own comfort and peace than anything else which makes you unproductive. Sleep on if you wish but then it wouldn’t matter much either.
#4 Greed

A great man once said that there’s enough in this world for everyone’s need but not enough for everyone’s greed. Greed is one of the sickest sins as it affects not only you but also those around you. Greed makes you blind towards other person’s needs and it actually adds nothing substantial to your personality.

Greed (Image Source: Shutterstock)
If this is your sin then you have a superficial side to your personality. It is this side that looks for worldly pleasures and thrives on the luxuries. It further, makes you appear shallow and devoid of deep thoughts making you a difficult person to be with. Greed destroys and yours might destroy you as well.
#5 Envy

Envy (Image Source: Shutterstock)
Jealousy or envy is the feeling of displeasure at the pleasure of someone else. It is a baseless feeling derived out of nothing but poor thoughts. It takes away your own self-confidence and gives the power to your happiness to someone else.

Envy (Image Source: Shutterstock)
If this is your sin then you have voluntarily let other take control over your sense of happiness. You have let the actions of others define what makes you happy or unhappy and you have lost your own judgment. Envy leads to bad blood between two people and you may just be one of them.
#6 Pride

Pride (Image Source: Shutterstock)
Pride comes before downfall, goes the saying, and you may just be on the brink of it. Pride is the feeling of superiority over others based on things you possess or the success you may have gained. Pride and vanity usually come together and they may just have taken over you.

If this is your sin then you may be the sort of person who judges others based on how inferior they are to you. You may form opinions based on their status rather than their personalities and you may also have chosen to deride them. But pride doesn’t last for long and beware, it may bring your downfall as well.
#7 Lust

Lust is the insatiable desire of the body for instant gratification. It personifies your inner animal and the primitive part of the human that you are. It is purely physical in nature and tends to reveal the shallowness of one’s personality.

Lust (Image Source: Shutterstock)
If this is your sin then you are driven by your body than your mind. You are more about the bodily pleasures than the depths of a conversation. You derive value from the rush of the physical contact than emotional connect. There may be a lot of superficiality to your personality and even if you hide it well, you are more a person who thrives on pleasure than the beauty of personality.
