Ever since our childhood, we’ve been fed fables about things to keep us safe and disciplined. Like the monsters under our bed existed solely so that we keep our bed-time in mind. Tooth Fairy exists so that we don’t feel bad about losing our teeth. My mom also told me to clean my room otherwise, “all the toys would join up and eat me in my sleep”.
Well, those tales were just harmless lies that, apart from scarring our memories, were simply what our parents told to keep us in check. And those are supposed to end when we grow up, right? But, no. We’re still being fed lies, but this time, it’s not our parents but the commercial industries.
