Breasts. Everyone has them and some are bigger than others. We’ve studied breasts for years walking down the street and on social media. Several colleges and universities have also conducted breasts studies but they were mostly for the benefit of lingerie companies and others who had interest in the industry… but now we have another study – one that finally tells us who has the biggest breasts.
Before we jump right into the full weight of the study, let’s talk about the metrics. They measured the breast size of over 400,000 women in 108 countries to determine who had the biggest breast. They used women who were not pregnant or breastfeed. The also excluded women who had altered their breasts with surgery. Can you guess who which country was?
For consistency they used volume metrics with the EU standard, and they obtained an average for that particular country. According to the study published in The Journal of Female Health Scientists, they took the measurements by measuring tapes, sometimes 3D scanning but they also used “visual examination.” This left many people wondering how to get that kind of job.
Two things became pretty clear from the findings is that one country is far ahead of others in breast size and that not all bra sizes are equal. I’m not shocked by the size difference though, the US has been trying to make women fit into ridiculous sizes and measurements to fit the mold since the 1950s.
According to the report, most women’s breast size aligned with the region of the world they were born in, with a few outliers in America having breast sizes that are closer to the region their ancestors were from.
The study discussed the shape of breasts as well. There appears to be 5 different shape categories. They are: round, pear shaped, hanging, hanging with a narrow tip and hanging with a wide tip.
Not surprising is that the USA has mostly round shaped breasts. Everyone else has pear shaped – I blame that on the bra industry and the phobia of the female nipple… but what do I know.
So who has the biggest breasts in the world?
It’s not countries in SouthEast Asia for sure. In the South Eastern Asia region most women measured an “A” (EU) cup. Most were smaller than that in the Solomon Islands. Among the rest of the bottom 5 were, The Philippines, Bangladesh, Samoa and Malaysia.
According the report, falling just above that bottom 5, and not by much were women in most African countries. They too averaged an “A” cup or less. Like the bottom 5, those countries also seen mostly pear-shaped and hanging breasts. Enough about the smallest breasts. Who was in the top 5?
Coming in at number 5 is Poland. Izabella St. James, former GF of Hugh Hefner is from Poland. Although, I think she may not have been eligible for the study, you can clearly see what a top of the charts chest looks like.
Number 4 is Ireland. To give you some real world example, remember Pulp Fiction? Bronagh Gallagher is Irish – so as far as cup sizes go, I’d say it’s more than a handful, and many a man has told me that more than a handful is a waste.
Science, at least this study, has proven that the largest breasts are in North America. No other continent has breast that come close to the volume of North America. Although – Mexico is a little lower on the list coming in with an average “B” cup.
Number 3 and Number 1 are the same, and I’m a bit peeved at how they were classified so I’m skipping to Number 2 and that’s Canada. Rachel McAdams is from Canada and this side boob shot gives you perspective of the size – even though it really shouldn’t matter at all.
So what country is number 1 and 3? The United States of America. Technically, because science doesn’t see American as American regardless of color apparently, Americans were listed as both Caucasian and non-Caucasian. Non – Caucasian women came in at number 3.
Topping the list – with not only the largest but the most round is caucasian women in the USA. With an average size larger than an “F”, breasts grown in America are the biggest. That doesn’t make them the best though – I mean after all, it’s likely not a good thing to have unnatural shaped breasts because of bras and large breasts cause an array of health problems and serious lower back pain.
What do you think, is bigger better?
